Rose Wollman, viola
Violist Rose Wollman will present a program of miniatures for solo viola, exploring a vast range of styles and emotions. The program will be anchored by J.S. Bach’s masterful Suite no. 3 for solo cello, and branches off on exploratory tangents with music by composers as diverse as Astor Piazzolla, Grazyna Bacewicz, and Wollman herself. The pieces build upon and respond to each other, creating a unique listening experience that transports the audience through time and filters the music through different lenses.
